Consignment is a great way to make some money or store credit by passing along items you no longer need. It is about more than just cleaning out your home. You are passing along your items to other families who want nice things. Please check your items BEORE bringing them in. Items need to be clean, complete, in current style & in excellent condition. If you would not buy it or put your child in it "as is", then do not bring it in that way. Items need to be ready for immediate purchase. We are unable to fuss with them in the store.
Once your items have sold, you get a portion of what they sold for. We do not buy items up front. If you choose store credit, you get 45% of the selling price. If you choose a check, you get 35% of the selling price.
Items accepted Monday - Friday
No appointment needed, but please arrive at least an hour before closing time and with your items prepared properly.
We must inspect all items brought in. Please be patient when we are sorting through your items and allow sufficient time for this process as you must be present, sign your contract and take any "no thank you items" with you. No drop-offs. Your visit will go much faster when your items are prepared as listed below.
-Maximum of 20 items per visit
Please do not bring 50 and expect us pick out 20
How to prepare clothing:
-Wash them right before bringing in. No clothing directly from storage bins.
-Inspect for stains, holes & excessive wear
-Ensure they are wrinkle free - iron if needed.
-Bring baby/kids clothing FLAT (not folded) in a neat stack in a large laundry basket or bin. Buttons buttoned, snaps snapped, zippers zipped.
Bring maternity clothes in on hangers. You will get your hangers back. The point is to keep them wrinkle free.
- Keep baby outfits together in the stack
- Items with original tags must be free of wrinkles & odors. If they are not, remove the tags & wash them.
Bring items that are season appropriate for what people will want to buy in the next 2-3 months. Avoid bringing holiday clothing right before the holiday - our customers love holiday onsies & shirts but please bring them 2-3 months early so they have time to sell.
WE WILL NOT LOOK AT CLOTHING IN BAGS! The whole point is for the clothes to be wrinkle free & ready to put right out for sale. Ironed items usually sell much faster & for more $! If you bring your items prepped this way, your visit will go much faster!
